There are different predictions on BANXNO predict (and you can submit your own). Each prediction can be traded as binary option. Each option has a value of 1 unit (BAN or XNO). The price of the option will be from 0.01 to 0.99 unit (BAN or XNO). When you buy the option, you pay the price multiply by the number of options (quantity) you buy. When you sell the option, you pay (1-price) multiply by the the number of options (quantity) you sell.
If the prediction turns out to be true (yes), the buyer of the option will receive the value of the option (minus 0.5% commission). If the prediction turns out to be false (no), the seller will receive the value of the option (minus 0.5% commission). This means, the higher the option price, the more likely people think the prediction will be true.
The outcome of the prediction will be decided by BANXNO administrator according to publicly available information. In rare situation, when it is not possible to decide the outcome of a prediction, the prediction will be cancelled and buyers and sellers will be refunded the cost they paid.
Below is an example of how this works:
Suppose there is a prediction saying "Team Happy will defeat team Grumpy in their soccer match today".
Ben submits an order to BUY 2 options for this prediction at 0.6 BAN each. He is charged 1.2 BAN (0.6x2=1.2).
Now Jerry submits an order to SELL 2 options for this prediction at 0.6 BAN each. He is charged 0.8 BAN ((1-0.6)x2=0.8).
Their orders match and are executed. Now Ben holds 2 options for this prediction (bought) and Jerry holds -2 options for this prediction (sold).
Later, the match ends in a tie. So the prediction is false (no). Once BANXNO administrator validates the result, Jerry will be paid 1.99 BAN because each of his position is worth 1 BAN and there is a 0.5% commission (2x0.995=1.99). Ben will get nothing because his position is worthless.
If due to weather or other reasons, the match is cancelled, then the prediction will be cancelled. Ben will receive 1.2 BAN and Jerry will receive 0.8 BAN.

There is no need to register. Simply provide your banano or nano wallet address and send a small required amount to verify you have control of the wallet.

The Browse page shows different categories of predictions. In each category page, predictions related to that category is displayed. Click on the prediction will bring you to the order page, which we will discuss below.

Once you click on a particular prediction, you will see the deadline of that prediction and open orders if any. Each open order that is not yours will have a Take button, which allows you to quickly offer to FILL that order to create a contract. For example, if there is a BUY order for 2 contracts at 0.5 each, press the Take button means you will sell 2 contracts at 0.5 each. Below that information is an order form. You can fill in your order type (BUY or SELL), price, and quantity, and submit your order.
If your order is accepted it will list in the open order list with a cancel button. If your order matches against an existing order, it will be filled and shown in your positions page (discuss later).
NOTE: Some predictions can be determined before the deadline. Your open order will still be available for match before administrator determines the outcome. You are responsible to cancel your open orders when outcome is known. For example, bitcoin will reach $100K before the end of the year. The deadline will be December 31st of that year but the yes outcome may happen before the deadline.

You can submit your own prediction on the predict page. If it is approved, it will be added to the list of predictions people can trade on. This page also lists all your predictions and their status.

The prediction can not be traded after the deadline (but the outcome might not be avaiable right after the deadline).
Optionally, you can provide a website (in English) that can help BANXNO administrator to decide the outcome of your prediction. However, the determination of the outcome does not rely on the web site you provided and it is a sole decision of the BANXNO administrator based on best public information.

The Orders page lists all your OPEN orders, with buttons to cancel each order. FILLED orders can be seen in the Positions page and Notices page.
The Positions page lists all your positions (filled orders). Positive quantity means you bought the option and you will receive payout if the prediction is true (yes). Negative quantity means you sold the option and you will receive payout if the prediction is false (no).
The Notices page lists all the notices you received, with buttons to delete individual notices or all notices.

If your login times out, it is possible there is issue with the (banano or nano) network, or the node we use. It could also be you did not send the required amount quick enough. You can try again.
